Jules Estrin

Jules is an accomplished trombonist, lecturer and musical director.  

A graduate of McGill University, Jules completed his Master’s degree at the University of Toronto.  He was the Musical Director of the JAZZ.FM91 Youth Big Band program, the Music Director for the Toronto Jazz Academy Orchestra and Jazz Camp Director at Interprovincial Music Camp.  

As a professional trombonist, Jules has appeared with internationally renowned musicians including Clark Terry, Paul Anka, Franki Valli and the Four Seasons, Ralph Bowen, Don Menza, Rob McConnell, Moe Koffman, Matt Dusk, Kenny Wheeler, and many others.  

He teaches master classes, gives lectures and clinics on band and jazz band pedagogy at music conferences and school boards.
